Find your way around Wallkit
Start with the task you want to do, then find its area in Wallkit Admin. The left navigation holds the main work areas; the header shows the current publication/resource and its settings entry.
Find the area for your task
| Your goal | Where to look in Admin | KB guide |
|---|---|---|
| Find or manage a reader | Audience in the left navigation. | Audience and memberships |
| Manage subscriptions and access rules | The plans area in the left navigation. | Plans, subscriptions and access rules |
| Work with articles and their classification | Content in the left navigation. | Content |
| Review recorded reader transactions | Transactions in the left navigation. | Transactions, reporting and billing |
| Review the publication's configuration | Resource settings in the header beside the publication/resource name. | Wallkit integration and settings |
In the left navigation, find the plans area between Groups and Tickets & Events. This is where you manage subscriptions and access rules.
Use the linked guide for setup steps or record-reading help in that area.
Recognize the other areas
- Groups relates to group subscriptions. Tickets & Events is for events and tickets.
- Promo Codes and Invite Codes are separate areas for promotional and invitation codes.
- Automations is for configured actions; Triggers is another related work area.
- E-mail Templates and Popup Templates contain the corresponding message and presentation templates.
- Dashboard presents reporting information. Billing concerns your publication's Wallkit service account; keep it separate from reader transactions.
Continue to Promotions and discounts, Gift subscriptions, team subscriptions and sponsored access, Events and tickets, Automations and 3rd party integration or Messages and appearance for those tasks.
For activity reporting, use Content analytics. For activity-informed access decisions, use Predictive paywall.
Before making changes
Confirm the publication shown in the header and your Admin access. Before you set up your publication explains what to check and what to do if the publication or a required control is unavailable.
