Find a content item

Use Content in Wallkit Admin to find the record for City Journal's “City Hall budget explained.” The table shows recorded information; a linked title opens the stored article link.

Before you start

Confirm the publication/resource shown in the header. Have the article title and, if available, the content key supplied by your integration owner. A content key identifies the item within that publication; it is not necessarily its URL.

Search the Content table

  1. Select Content in the left navigation.
  2. Enter City Hall budget explained in Title. The list updates after you change the filter; there is no separate Apply step here.
  3. Read the returned rows. Title searches can match part of a recorded title, so compare the full title, Content type and Taxonomies before choosing a row.
  4. If several rows look alike, clear Title and enter the publisher's content key in Key. Key searches can also match part of a key; use the other visible information to confirm the intended item.
  5. Click a populated Taxonomies cell to expand its classification and term names. If the title is a link, use it to open the recorded article URL in a new tab. An unlinked title remains text. The title link is not a Wallkit detail page.

For this fictional article, you might expect content type article, Categories → Reporting, Tags → City Hall and Author(s) → Alex Rivera. Your publication's names and recorded values may differ.

Other available filters

FilterUse it for
TitleMatching text in the recorded title.
KeyMatching text in the integration-supplied content key.
Price rangeNarrowing by the recorded content price.

Filters work together. Start with Title or Key, then add another filter only if it helps. Created at is not the article's publication date.

If you cannot find it

  • Check the publication/resource in the header.
  • Clear text from Title and Key, remove a selected Content type, and clear any price/date range that might exclude the row. Search again with a short distinctive part of the title or the known content key.
  • If the article's website title changed, ask the integration owner which title and key Wallkit currently has. A website edit does not establish that its Wallkit record changed too.
  • Share the publication, article URL, intended title and known content key with the integration owner if the record still cannot be found.

No results means no record matched this lookup. It does not prove that the article is unpublished or that registration failed.
