Events and tickets
Use Tickets & Events for a ticketed gathering, such as City Journal's reader evening. These events are separate from the system events used in automations.
Know the three records
| Record | What it describes |
|---|---|
| Event | The gathering: its title, location or online details, dates and configuration. |
| Ticket | A configured ticket option for that event, with its price, currency and sale conditions. |
| Pass | An individual record linked to a ticket, with an owner and a separately assigned attendee when supplied. |
A saved ticket option is not an individual purchased pass. A pass or attendee assignment is not proof that someone entered the venue.
